Mrągowo

The city lies between the lakes of Czos and Juno. It is known from the annual “Country Picnic”. The oldest monument is evangelical church from 1734. Worth of seeing is also the town hall with a small turret and a clock. Mragowo is town for everyone. Because if you want an excitement and laughter, which is called health after all, it will be provided to you by Mazurian Cabaret Night. After the laughter, the time for country music – Mrągowo and Mazury are famous for this. Polish cowboys arrive to the city for the last weekend of July to play during the famous Country Picnic. Music lovers from all over Poland are waiting for this extraordinary combination of musical performances each year.

Do not miss the Western Town of Mrongoville too! It is a replica of a typical Wild West town from the second half of the 19th century.

People from all over Poland and from abroad attend the Festival of Borderland Culture which takes place in August. It is a festival of patriotism and beautiful music. Its creators are very fond of Mrągowo.

There is another attraction, quite new, in the Municipality of Mrągowo – the Mountain of Four Winds. Now we have mountain slopes in Masuria which are skiers’ paradise. Lodging can be found for all enthusiastic skiers. After a busy day on the slopes, restaurants and bars in Mragowo serve delicious regional dishes.
